About Collinsia bartsiifolia Benth.

Collinsia bartsiifolia Benth. is an annual herb. It grows a slender, hairy stem that reaches up to around 35 centimeters long. A small number of thick, narrowly oblong leaves grow along the stem, and the edges of these leaves roll slightly under. Its inflorescence is made up of an interrupted sequence of flower whorls. Individual flowers range in color from white to lavender to purple, and may sometimes be bicolored. Each flower is pouched and folded, with two toothed upper lobes and three notched lower lobes.
