About Coelophora biplagiata (Swartz, 1808)

Coelophora biplagiata (Swartz, 1808) is a species of ladybug native to Southeast Asia, including regions of China. Adult individuals measure 5.5โ€“6.5 millimeters in length and 4.5โ€“5.5 millimeters in width, and have a broadly oval body shape. The head is light yellow; the pronotum is black, with yellowish lateral sides that blend together along the cephalic border. The elytra are black, each marked with a broad, irregularly outlined reddish patch. The larvae of this species are black and yellow, with a cylindrical, elongated body shape. Mature larvae reach approximately 12 millimeters in length and 3.9 millimeters in width.
