Cochylis molliculana Zeller, 1847 is a moth species found in Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, and Cyprus. This moth has a wingspan of 11–15 mm. The labial palps, head, thorax, and tegulae are golden-brown. Its forewings have a cream-white base color, marked with patches in colors ranging from reddish brown to gray and ocher. A blackish transverse band runs across the middle of the forewings. Forewing edges are fringed, and bordered by a thin dark line. Both the underside of the forewings and the hindwings themselves are pale brown. This species mainly inhabits coastal environments, waste ground, chalky meadows, and scrubland.
