Cnephasia stephensiana, commonly known as the grey tortrix, is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. This species is native to the Palearctic realm, and it has also been officially recorded in Canada. The wingspan of adult Cnephasia stephensiana ranges from 18 to 23 mm. Moths of this species have grey wings marked with variegated patterns. They show considerable variation in coloration, and some individuals have contrasting patterns. Their forewings have a rounded shape, are pale greyish in base colour, and feature three more or less distinct, irregular darker transverse bands. Their hindwings are a pale greyish-brown colour.
