Clepsis virescana, commonly called the light brown apple moth, is a moth species belonging to the family Tortricidae. It is found across North America, with a widespread distribution across southern Canada and most of the United States. It inhabits open shrubby areas and aspen parkland. The forewings of this moth measure between 6.4 and 9.1 mm in length. Adult Clepsis virescana have been recorded flying from April through September. Its larvae are known to feed on both fresh and decaying leaves from Prunus and Rosa species.
