About Cleora sublunaria (Guenée)

Cleora sublunaria, commonly known as the double-lined gray moth, is a moth species in the family Geometridae. It is found in North America, with confirmed records ranging from the southeastern United States west to Texas. The forewing length of males is 13–17 mm, and the forewing length of females is 14–17 mm. Adults are mostly on wing from February to June, producing one generation per year. Larvae feed on plant species from the Quercus and Comptonia genera, and can be found from June to July.
