Clematis cunninghamii, called Akangākaukiore in Māori, is a species of flowering plant. It is one of seven clematis species native to New Zealand. C. cunninghamii is consistently found all across the North Island of New Zealand. It grows in lowland forests and along forest margins. The species produces white flowers from September through November, and bears fruit from November through January. Its seeds are dispersed by wind.
