About Cladonia evansii des Abb.

Cladonia evansii, commonly called Evans' deer moss or Evans' reindeer moss, is a species of lichen that belongs to the family Cladoniaceae. This lichen occurs naturally in the Southeastern United States, with a small number of recorded populations found in Cuba. Henry Nicollon des Abbayes was the botanist who first formally published and named this species.
