Flowers are arranged in cymes, holding between one and five individual flowers. Each flower is 4โ6 cm (1.6โ2.4 in) across, with five white petals that have narrowed yellow bases, and five sepals. The flower style is very short. Cistus inflatus, which is generally recorded under the name C. psilosepalus, is native to Portugal, western Spain, and two small regions of north-west France.
