Cinna latifolia (Trevir. ex Göpp.) Griseb. is a grass species commonly called drooping woodreed. This native bunchgrass grows across the Northern Hemisphere, with a circumboreal distribution. It inhabits moist environments, including forest understories and riverbanks. It can grow to a maximum height of nearly two meters. Its inflorescence is an open arrangement of spikelets, most often colored green with purple tints. It flowers during late summer and fall.
