Cicindela hirticollis Say, 1817 is a species of tiger beetle. It is commonly found on sand bars and sandy beaches across North America. This is a medium-sized species, with a total body length ranging from 2–14 mm (0.08–0.55 in), and it is active during the summer months. The dorsal surfaces of its head, prothorax, and elytra are dark brown, while its elytral markings are very pale, ranging from cream to white. It has two common names: the hairy-necked tiger beetle and the moustached tiger beetle. The overall population of this species is currently declining.
