Cicindela duodecimguttata Dejean, 1825, commonly called the twelve-spotted tiger beetle, is a species of tiger beetle. Individuals of this species range from 12 to 15 millimetres (0.47 to 0.59 inches) in body length, and their body coloration is dark brown to black. Most members of the species have twelve spots on their elytra. The species is widespread across eastern North America, excluding the extreme southeastern coastal plain and most of Florida. It is commonly found in wet habitats, along rivers, and on moist trails, roads, and paths.
