Chrysophyllum marginatum (Hook. & Arn.) Radlk. grows up to 10 metres (33 ft) tall, with a trunk diameter reaching up to 40 cm (16 in). This species is suitable for use in reforestation. It is native to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Its natural habitat is woodlands located near rivers or in mountainous areas.
