About Chrysodeixis acuta (Walker)
Chrysodeixis acuta, commonly known as the Tunbridge Wells gem, is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. Its distribution spans across Africa, the Canary Islands, and extends eastwards through Indonesia to Australasia and Oceania. This moth has a wingspan measuring between 35 and 45 millimeters. The larvae of Chrysodeixis acuta feed on a variety of plants, including barley, linseed, and sorghum.
