Chlosyne marina, commonly known as the red-spotted patch or marina checkerspot, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Nymphalidae. This butterfly is native to Mexico. Rare stray individuals can occasionally be found as far north as southern Arizona and southern Texas in the United States. The wingspan of adult Chlosyne marina measures 33 to 35 millimeters. Adult individuals feed on flower nectar.
