Chlosyne damoetas (first described by Skinner in 1902), also referred to as Chlosyne whitneyi damoetas and commonly known as the rockslide checkerspot, is a species of butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is distributed in North America, ranging from British Columbia and Alberta south to Wyoming and Colorado. In its life cycle, caterpillars of this species feed on Erigeron leiomerus and Solidago multiradiata.
