About Chlorospingus flavigularis (P.L.Sclater, 1852)

Yellow-throated chlorospingus, also called yellow-throated bush tanager, has the scientific name Chlorospingus flavigularis (P.L.Sclater, 1852). This bird species was traditionally classified in the family Thraupidae, but it is now considered to be more closely related to the genus Arremonops in the family Passerellidae. It can be found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and heavily degraded former forest.
