Childrena childreni (Gray, 1831), commonly called the large silverstripe or Himalayan fritillary, is a species of nymphalid butterfly. It was originally described by George Robert Gray in 1831, and was formerly classified under the scientific name Argynnis childreni. This butterfly is found in mountainous regions, ranging from Pakistan into China. It has a wingspan between 8 and 9 centimetres, which equals 3.1 to 3.5 inches. Its forewings are mostly orange marked with black spots, while its hindwings are brown with a blue margin and many white stripes.
