The achenes of this species are 9 to 20 mm long, while its cream-coloured pappus measures 10 to 12 mm long.
Habitat
It grows in warm, humid, shaded habitats, and can also be found in habitats that experience seasonal droughts.
Flowering and Fruiting Period
In Brazil, its flowering and fruiting period runs from October to January, at the end of the dry season.
