About Chamaechaenactis scaposa (Eastw.) Rydb.
Chamaechaenactis, commonly called fullstem, is a genus of flowering plants that belongs to the daisy family. Only one species in this genus is known to science: Chamaechaenactis scaposa. This species is native to the western United States, where it occurs in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, Arizona, and Utah. Chamaechaenactis scaposa is a perennial plant that grows up to 10 cm (4 inches) tall, with a thick underground caudex. Most of its leaves grow in a basal rosette. Its flower heads are typically produced singly, and hold white to pink disc florets with no ray florets.
