Cethosia cyane, commonly known as the leopard lacewing, is a species of heliconiine butterfly. Its native range extends from India through southern China (southern Yunnan) to Indochina. Over the last few decades, the species' range has expanded, and its presence in the southern Malay Peninsula, including Singapore, is a relatively recent development.
