Ceroplesis militaris Gerstaecker, 1855, a species of longhorn beetle, reaches approximately 30 millimetres (1.2 inches) in length. Its body is black, and two broad stripes cross its elytra. Recorded host plants for this species include Celtis species, Acacia species, and Maesopsis eminii. This species can be found in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
