Cerioporus is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Polyporaceae. The type species of this genus is Cerioporus squamosus. Many species that are now classified in Cerioporus were previously placed in the genus Polyporus, but phylogenetic analysis has confirmed that Cerioporus is a distinct, separate genus. It has been reported that mushrooms of this genus have significant antioxidant and antimicrobial activity.
