About Ceriagrion olivaceum Laidlaw, 1914
Ceriagrion olivaceum Laidlaw, 1914 is a medium-sized damselfly. It has olivaceous brown-capped greenish eyes, an olive green thorax that is paler on the sides. Its abdomen is uniformly olivaceous brown on the dorsal half and paler on the ventral half. When viewed from the dorsum, its superior anal appendages are brown, triangular, and have a broadly rounded apex. The inferior anal appendages slope strongly upward to meet the superior anal appendages; they are broad at the base and taper to a point. Females are similar in appearance to males. This species breeds in slow-flowing marshy streams, ponds, and swamps.
