Cephalaria leucantha (L.) Schrad. reaches a height of 90–150 centimetres (35–59 inches). This hardy perennial has a long stem that bears divided, fern-like leaves. It blooms from July to November, producing flowers that are either white or pale lemon in colour. This species occurs naturally in northern Africa and southern Europe, including Albania, former Yugoslavia, Greece, Italy, France, Portugal, and Spain.
