Centrosema arenicola (Small) F.J.Herm. is commonly called pineland butterfly-pea or sand butterfly-pea. This is a rare vining flowering plant, and it is endemic to the central region of peninsular Florida in the United States. It only grows in the sandy, fire-dependent pine habitats of this central peninsula, where it occurs primarily in longleaf pine sandhill and scrubby flatwoods.
