Centrolepis strigosa, commonly called hairy centrolepis, is a plant species that belongs to the Restionaceae family. It can be found in the North and South Islands of New Zealand, as well as in Australia. This species is an annual tufted herb that grows between 1.5 and 8 centimetres high. It produces numerous radiating leaves, which are covered in multicellular hispid hairs. Its flowering period runs from September to November.
