About Centaurium scilloides (L.fil.) Samp.

Centaurium scilloides (L.fil.) Samp. is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches a maximum height of 15 centimetres, or 5.9 inches. This species grows in the coastal habitat of cliffs and dune grasslands, and can be found all along the Atlantic coast of Europe. In Japan, Centaurium scilloides is popularly used for decoration. It is used as a border plant in rock gardens, and also grows well in pots and on verandas.
