About Catocala pacta Linnaeus, 1758

Catocala pacta is a moth species in the Erebidae family. It is distributed from southern Sweden, eastwards through Finland, Poland, and the Baltic states, extending to the Ural and Amur regions south of Tibet. This moth has a wingspan measuring 42 to 52 mm. Adult moths are active from July through September. The larvae feed on plants in the Salix genus, specifically including Salix caprea and Salix cinerea.
