Catocala clintonii Grote, 1864, commonly called Clinton's underwing, is a species of moth in the family Erebidae. This moth is distributed from Ontario and Quebec in Canada, south to Florida in the United States, west to Texas, and north to Wisconsin. Its wingspan measures 45–55 mm. Adults can be seen in flight from February to July, with flight timing varying by location. There is likely only one generation of this moth per year. The larvae of Catocala clintonii feed on plants from the following taxa: Crataegus, Gleditsia triacanthos, Malus pumila, Prunus americana, Prunus ilicifolia, and Ulmus.
