Catagramma cynosura Doubleday (also known as Callicore cynosura) is a butterfly species commonly called the BD butterfly or the Cynosura eighty-eight. It belongs to the Nymphalidae butterfly family. Its common name BD butterfly comes from markings on the underside of its hindwings that look like the letters "B" and "D". This species can be found in Amazonia, with a range that stretches from Colombia to Brazil, and also extends to Peru and Bolivia. It has a wingspan of approximately 47 millimetres. The larvae of this butterfly feed on plant species that belong to the Sapindaceae family.
