About Castilleja lineariloba (Benth.) T.I.Chuang & Heckard
Castilleja lineariloba is an annual herb that reaches a maximum height of around 45 centimeters. Its leaves grow up to 5.7 centimeters long, and each leaf has between three and nine spreading lobes. The plant produces a large inflorescence made up of many greenish bracts, each tipped with white, yellow, or pale purple. The pouched, lipped flowers grow between these bracts; these flowers can be white, yellow, or rose, and are sometimes speckled with darker shades.
