About Carex louisianica L.H.Bailey
Carex louisianica, commonly known as Louisiana sedge, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the sedge family. It is native to North America, and occurs primarily in the southeastern region of the United States. Its natural native habitat consists of wet, swampy forests and open areas. It is a rhizomatous perennial plant that produces flowers in spring, and develops fruits during late spring and summer.
