Carex lachenalii Schkuhr, commonly known as twotipped sedge and hare's foot sedge, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Carex. This species is native to temperate and subarctic regions of North America, Greenland, Iceland, Europe, and Asia, as well as the South Island of New Zealand. Its documented diploid chromosome number is 2n=64, though this count has some uncertainty associated with it.
