Carex frankii, commonly known as Frank's sedge, is a widespread flowering plant species belonging to the family Cyperaceae. It is native to temperate eastern North America, specifically found in Ontario, the central and eastern United States, and Coahuila, Mexico. This species prefers to grow in wet, shady locations, such as stream and pond edges. It is resistant to erosion, and is recommended for use in rain gardens.
