About Carex emoryi Dewey

Carex emoryi Dewey, commonly known as riverbank tussock sedge or Emory's sedge, is a species of sedge. Its native range includes Canada, the United States, and the northern Mexican states of Chihuahua and Coahuila. This plant grows along the banks of rivers and streams, and can also be found growing on sand and gravel bars within streams. It spreads via underground rhizomes.
