About Carex divulsa Stokes

Carex divulsa, commonly known as grey sedge, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Carex. It is native to Macaronesia, Europe, northwest Africa, the Caucasus region, and the Middle East, ranging east as far as Turkmenistan. It has been introduced to several locations outside its native range: northeast Argentina, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania in the United States, Ontario in Canada, the North Island of New Zealand, and the Australian states of Tasmania and Victoria. It is the namesake for the Carex divulsa aggregate.
