About Cardamine amara L.

Cardamine amara, commonly called large bitter-cress, is a flowering plant species belonging to the Brassicaceae family. This is a perennial plant that grows upright, mostly unbranched stems that can reach up to 70 cm (28 inches) in height. Its leaves are composed of between three and 13 leaflets. The flowers of this species have petals that measure 8–14 mm (0.3–0.6 inches) long; petals are most often white, though they may sometimes be pink or purple. Cardamine amara grows in damp locations.
