Scientific name: Carcharodus lavatherae (Esper, 1783), as described in Seitz. This species is yellowish grey or ash-coloured. Its hindwing is darker, marked with two rows of distinct, almost white spots. The underside of the hindwing has two small grey bands located in its centre. It is found in Southern Europe, North Africa, Syria, and Armenia.
