About Caradrina multifera Walker

Caradrina multifera, commonly known as the speckled rustic moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Noctuidae. This species was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1857. It is distributed in North America, where it ranges from Newfoundland south to North Carolina and Tennessee, and west to Minnesota and Manitoba. Populations are also found in British Columbia and Washington. The wingspan of adult individuals is 30 to 32 mm. Adults are active in flight from July to October, and this species produces one new generation per year.
