About Caradrina kadenii Freyer, 1836
This section provides the technical description and variation of Caradrina kadenii. The forewing is luteous, a muddy yellow color with a faint brownish tinge. The inner and outer lines are indistinct, marked by black vein dots and black costal spots. The subterminal line is interrupted, formed by whitish striae with rufous dentate marks on the inner side. The termen has black striae. The orbicular is a rufous dot, and the reniform is a rufous lunule with whitish clots surrounding it. The hindwing is pure white in males, with some blackish striae along the termen, and dirty whitish in females. The larva is greyish brown, with whitish dorsal lines and dark subdorsal and lateral lines; the head and thoracic plate are dark brown. The wingspan of the adult is approximately 30 mm, and the length of the forewings ranges from 12 to 15 mm.
