Capua vulgana (Frölich, 1828) is a species of Tortrix moth. This species has a wingspan that ranges from 13 to 19 mm. These broad-winged moths have a buff-coloured head and pale brown forewings marked with dark brown patterns; males show more distinct dark markings than females. Capua vulgana is distributed across a wide range of regions: from Ireland and Great Britain, it extends eastwards through the Benelux countries, Fennoscandia, and central and south-eastern Europe, all the way to Siberia, Sakhalin, and the Kuril Islands. It is also found in China, specifically in Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Sichuan, and Shandong, as well as in Taiwan. This relatively common moth species primarily lives in woodlands, open scrubs, and deciduous forests.
