Camponotus singularis (Smith, 1858) is a species of ant native to Asia. It is a large ant species: worker individuals can grow up to 18 mm (0.71 in) long, while queen individuals can reach up to 20 mm (0.79 in) in length. Most individuals of this species have a red head and a black or grey body. Colonies of Camponotus singularis sometimes inhabit the upper and middle sections of tropical rainforest canopies. This species has a wide distribution range, stretching from Nepal to the islands of Borneo and Java.
