Also referred to as Camphorosma in Sauv. monsp. 45. It was described as Selago caule procumbente, foliis sparsis in Hort. cliff. 321 and Roy. lugdb. 300. It has been called Camphorata hirsuta in Bauh. pin. 486, Tournef. act. 1705, p. 313, and Buxb. cent. 1, p. 18, t. 28, f. 1. And as Camphorata monspeliensium in Bauh. hist. 3, p. 379 and Lob. adv. 174.
