About Campanula pulla L.

Campanula pulla, commonly known as the solitary harebell, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Campanulaceae. It is native to the northeastern Alps of Austria. This species is a spreading, mat-forming perennial. The Royal Horticultural Society recommends Campanula pulla for use in scree gardens, and it can be purchased from commercial plant suppliers. There are multiple cultivated selections and cultivars of this species, including 'Blue Drops' and 'Alba'. It has also hybridized with Campanula carpatica to produce the hybrid Campanula × pulloides, which has its own cultivars: 'Jelly Bells' and 'G.F. Wilson'. The cultivar 'G.F. Wilson' has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
