Campanula pendula M.Bieb. is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the Campanulaceae family. This plant is native to the North Caucasus region of Russia. It is a herbaceous perennial that grows between 30 and 60 centimeters in height. Its leaves range in shape from cordate (heart-shaped) to lanceolate, and have biserrate (doubly serrated) edges. The nodding, bell-shaped flowers measure 3 to 5 centimeters long, are creamy white in color, and grow in arching panicles from early summer through to early autumn.
