Calymma is a monotypic moth genus that belongs to the family Erebidae. This genus was first erected by Jacob Hübner in 1823. The genus contains only one species, Calymma communimacula, which was originally described by Michael Denis and Ignaz Schiffermüller in 1775. The species is found in central and southern Europe, and in the region stretching from Turkey through Transcaucasia to the Middle East.
