About Calochortus tiburonensis A.J.Hill

Calochortus tiburonensis is a perennial plant that grows from a bulb, reaching a height of 10 to 60 centimeters, and produces only a single leaf. Each year, it grows a branching stem that bears between 2 and 7 erect flowers. Its petals are ciliate, light yellow-green, and marked with purplish-brown streaks. Once mature, its ovaries develop into a capsule that contains many small, dark brown seeds.
