Calochortus ambiguus, commonly called the Arizona mariposa lily or doubting mariposa lily, is a perennial bulb-forming herb belonging to the lily family Liliaceae. This species grows at higher elevations in the Sonoran Desert regions of Arizona, western New Mexico, southern Utah, and Sonora. Its flowers are white or very pale lavender, with a green center and reddish-purple anthers.
