About Callambulyx tatarinovii Bremer & Grey, 1853
Callambulyx tatarinovii Bremer & Grey, 1853 has a wingspan ranging from 56 to 82 millimetres, or 2.2 to 3.2 inches. This species is very similar to Smerinthus kindermannii. Its distribution extends from northern Xinjiang, across northern China, Mongolia, southern Siberia, to the Russian Far East and Japan. It then ranges south through Korea and central China to eastern Tibet, and can also be found in Taiwan.
